Quality Assurance Engineer in Food Manufacturing Duties:
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming products, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collect and analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement and maintain all records - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and processes.
- Work with vendors to source goods and ensure quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify the source of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality control procedures, inspection methods, and test protocols.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HACCP - Strong communication skills in order to communicate to Production and Management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in performing inspections.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues.
- English and Spanish speaker preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
